What are the arrangements for handling complaints from parents of children with SEN about the provision made at Greenacres Primary School?
At Greenacres Primary School we strive to work closely with parents/carers when supporting their child with SEN, and therefore welcome any concerns regarding the SEND policy or provision made to be discussed as soon as possible.
In the first instance, please speak with the pupil’s class teacher or SENCO. After that, if parents/carers still feel their child’s needs aren’t being met, a discussion with Head teacher would be appropriate. If it was still felt that the complaint had not been addressed, it would then be appropriate to approach the Governing body. Greenacres Primary School is part of the Empower Trust, the complaints policy can be found on the school website, under the policies section.
If parents continue to have unresolved concerns, they may seek to access Shropshire Information, Advice and Support Service (IASS). Click here to find out more.
