Welcome to Greenacres Primary School

I would like to offer a warm welcome to Greenacres Primary School. 

Greenacres is a friendly and welcoming school, set on the outskirts of Shrewsbury in a close knit and supportive community.  

It is important that we support, value and have high expectations of everyone in our school community.  The ethos of the school is vital in developing this.  Every child in the school is considered capable of achieving great things. Through our broad and balanced curriculum offer, we drive to inspire, develop and encourage the knowledge, skills and understanding that every child needs to go on and be a successful and valuable member of the wider community.

Academic success is incredibly important and we are striving to develop a forward thinking curriculum which gives opportunities for every individual to succeed and achieve their best.  It is important that we ensure a broad and balanced approach to learning to enable all children to shine in their individual strengths and interests.

I am incredibly proud to be Head Teacher at Greenacres School.  The school is at an exciting stage in its journey and plans for the future include building works, resourcing and development of the curriculum and offer in school. 

I would welcome the opportunity to show any prospective parents and children around the school and talk further about the opportunities we can offer to new pupils and families.
