United Against Bullying
United Against Bullying Programme
Following the appointment of the new Executive Head and as a result of significant changes in staffing, a whole school review was undertaken by the Severn Teaching School Alliance. During the personal development focus of the review, children expressed some concerns around behaviour and bullying in school.
On the back of this, we registered for the United Against Bullying Programme and completed a 360º audit. In addition, we introduced three school rules and reviewed and implemented a new behaviour policy. We are currently working with a specialist in behaviour support to look at current practice and have identified staff training as a particular area of need.
The whole staff worked together during a PD day on the action plan for the programme and we have looked at wider school plans to tackle incidents and issues.
The results of our work can be seen so far below. We will continue to update this as we go through the programme and ensure all work towards the award is in place for the 20th June 2022.
I look forward to being able to share the outcome of our work this year once we have submitted our evidence.
