Rutland, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 3QG
We are beginning the term by looking at chicks. We are lucky enough to be having our own chick eggs in nursery that we will observe in an incubator until they hatch. The children are so excited about having our own little visitors!
We will be focusing on ‘Minibeasts’ for the remainder of the first half of the Summer term. During this time we will be carrying out bug hunts and we will be studying insects in detail.
Following the half term we will be focusing on ‘transport’. We will be exploring different modes of travel. Our next big topic will be ‘Summer’ and the seasonal changes that have taken place. We will then move onto looking at different places and cultures around the world.
We are all looking forward to a busy and exciting term!
Our nursery staff are usually available to talk to you at the start and end of each session if you have any queries or questions.
Happy Summer Term!
